Lancaster County Arrest Booking Facility
The Lancaster County Department of Corrections, not the elected Sheriff, operates the Adult Detention Facility at 3801 West O Street in Lincoln. The jail opened in July 2013 after overcrowding at earlier facilities and lists a maximum capacity of 786. Its public phone is 402-441-1900. Intake can include identity checks, a property inventory, health screening, a photograph and fingerprints when applicable, charge and hold entry, housing classification, and coordination of the initial court and bond process. Those steps create custody data, not a conviction.
What an Arrest Record Shows
A Lancaster County arrest record and a booking profile overlap, but they are not identical. The agency event can contain probable-cause and narrative material, subject to redaction. Corrections focuses on intake, custody, charges presented at booking, holds, bond, and release. Missing Lancaster County Arrest Matches

The person may have been cited without booking, released, transferred, entered under another spelling, or booked outside Lancaster County. A recent report also may not yet have produced a filed case. NSP gaps have another cause.
