Official Lancaster County criminal-record questions belong with the government office that created or maintains the record. The contacts below separate sheriff reports, Lincoln police files, county jail information, court records, and Nebraska State Patrol criminal-history requests. This privately operated site cannot accept a filing or supply a certified record.

This Is Not a Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull criminal records, run official background checks, remove or correct a record, or accept expungement filings for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the right government office directly.

Need an Official Record?

Use the custodian that matches the Lancaster County record:

  • Lincoln police reports: LPD Records, 575 S. 10th Street; 402-441-6000. The public counter is listed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding major holidays.

  • District and Juvenile Court files: Clerk of the District Court, 555 S. 10th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508; records line 402-441-7328. The criminal court case records resource explains the court split.
  • Statewide RAP requests: Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Identification Division provides Nebraska fingerprint-based Record of Arrest and Prosecution searches through its official channels.

There is no single county counter for every record. Sheriff files, corrections custody entries, and court case documents remain with separate Lancaster County offices, so confirm current hours before travel.
